Mariam Naoum is an acclaimed Egyptian screenwriter known for socially conscious storytelling and multi layered characters. With more than two decades of experience, she has become one of the foremost voices in Arab drama, bringing marginalized perspectives and complex social issues to mainstream audiences. Her work is widely respected for its emotional depth and authenticity.

A graduate of the High Cinema Institute, she began her career writing short films, documentaries, and television programs before moving into major drama series and feature films. Her scripts often examine issues affecting women and underserved communities, using narrative as a tool for reflection and public conversation.

At BRIDGE Summit, Mariam will discuss the role of storytelling in social transformation and how writers can shape dialogue and inspire change through honest, human centered narratives.
