Faia Younan
Faia Younan is a singer, songwriter, and actress whose distinctive sound blends modern arrangements with classical oriental instruments and Arabic poetry. Since beginning her career in 2015, she has released three albums and numerous singles, performing to record-breaking audiences in some of the world’s most renowned theaters. Her fusion of contemporary and traditional styles has made her one of the most acclaimed young artists in the Arab world.
Born and raised in Syria and later moving to Sweden at the age of eleven, Faia studied Social Sciences at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2013.
At BRIDGE Summit, Faia will share how art can preserve cultural heritage while connecting with global audiences, and how artists can use music to tell stories that transcend language and borders.
