Roman Shimansky is the CEO of Yango Play, the region’s all-in-one entertainment super app spanning movies, music, mini-games, and more. A marketing leader with 15 years of experience across entertainment and technology, he is known for combining technical expertise with creative storytelling gained through work with leading creators and film producers. Roman has played a key role in shaping Yango Play’s rapid growth and positioning it as one of the region’s most innovative digital entertainment platforms.

In his role, he drives the company’s strategic vision, leading initiatives that expand market presence, enhance user experience, and unlock new growth opportunities. His leadership is rooted in data-driven marketing, 360-degree brand building, and a strong customer-centric philosophy. He is recognized for building high-performing teams, forging long-term partnerships, and identifying emerging trends across digital entertainment ecosystems. Roman holds a Master’s degree in Information Technologies from BMSTU and a digital marketing certification from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is fluent in English and German.
