Anna Jupowicz-Ginalska

Associate Professor, University of Warsaw; Vice President, European Media Management Association

Anna Jupowicz Ginalska is a professor at the University of Warsaw and a leading scholar in media management, media marketing, media polarisation, and technology’s impact on audiences. She is the author of more than 80 publications, has presented at over 90 international conferences, received the Golden Wing award for her book Media Marketing, and was recognised as a Polish Congress Ambassador for 2022 to 2023. She also serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Media Business Studies and Humanities and Social Sciences Communication and on the Reviewers’ Boards of Future Internet and Social Sciences. She is Vice President and Board Member of the European Media Management Association.

Her academic leadership includes serving as Deputy Director of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw, initiating the national research project FOMO. Poles and the Fear of Missing Out, contributing to the Diversity Management as Innovation in Journalism project, and leading the international Erasmus Plus consortium Beyond Borders. She also heads The Knowledge Share Communities and The World Media Economics and Management Conference: Warsaw 2025.
