Zengxin Li
Zengxin Li is the Deputy General Manager of Caixin Global and a senior journalist with more than a decade of influential reporting across economics, finance, and global policy. He previously served as Caixin’s U.S. Bureau Chief, Deputy Editor of the International Desk, and Editor of the Macroeconomics Team, interviewing world leaders including IMF Managing Directors Kristalina Georgieva and Christine Lagarde, U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, and central bankers such as Ben Bernanke and Mervyn King. His work has positioned him as a respected voice in global economic journalism.
Across his career, Li has shaped high level coverage of global markets, international relations, and macroeconomic developments. He has represented Caixin Media at the World Economic Forum, the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings, and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Before joining Caixin, he held editorial and correspondent roles at Caijing Magazine and China Daily, and he holds an MSc in Economics from University College London.
