Stanley Tong
Stanley Tong is an acclaimed Hong Kong director, screenwriter, and producer known for his long running collaborations with Jackie Chan on iconic films including Police Story 3 Super Cop, Rumble in the Bronx, The Myth, Kung Fu Yoga, Vanguard, and The Legend. His films have won major international awards, including the Hong Kong Film Award, the Golden Horse Award, and the Chinese American Film Festival Golden Angel Award.
He is a pioneer of cross cultural filmmaking and has directed the Hollywood feature Mr. Magoo and the CBS series Martial Law. Beyond film, he has produced successful television dramas such as The Myth and The Patriot Yue Fei, which gained wide acclaim in China and internationally. His body of work has contributed significantly to the global reach of Chinese action cinema.
