Stephen Keppel

President, PVBLIC Foundation

Stephen Keppel is the President of PVBLIC Foundation, a pioneering nonprofit that leverages media, data, and technology to advance sustainable development worldwide. Since taking on the role in 2020, he has led the organization’s growth across 20 programs and more than 50 partnerships in 45 countries. In 2023, PVBLIC was named Development Organization of the Year for its leadership in managing the SDG Data Alliance. Over his career, Stephen has raised and managed more than $50 million to fund initiatives in sustainability, education, health, and media innovation.

Before joining PVBLIC, Stephen co-founded the Univision Foundation, serving as its first Executive Director and establishing its governance, fundraising, and program strategy. Under his leadership, Univision’s programs earned Peabody, GLAAD, and Emmy Awards, and he received the UN Media Leadership Award for climate change reporting. He has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Media Leader and holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Columbia University.

At BRIDGE Summit, Stephen will share how cross-sector partnerships and media-driven innovation can accelerate progress toward global sustainability goals and measurable social impact.
