Kinda Ibrahim
Kinda Ibrahim currently oversees TikTok’s operations across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Central Asia. In her role, she is responsible for setting TikTok’s content strategy across these markets to maintain a diverse community of users, creators, and content partners, providing a relevant, original, and engaging experience for the regional TikTok community. She also leads the development of teams that manage and nurture these communities. Additionally, she partners with business teams on strategic growth initiatives and works closely with cross-functional teams to expand TikTok’s footprint in these regions.
Kinda has over 17 years of international experience in digital media, content, and marketing across the Middle East and North America. Before joining TikTok, she was the Director of Media Partnerships for Twitter in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, leading efforts to grow partnerships across news, politics, sports, television, and entertainment. Prior to Twitter, she worked at Microsoft as Editor-in-Chief of English MSN Arabia and held leadership roles at Yahoo Maktoob, where she led the media operations division. Earlier in her career, she played a key role in shaping digital and data strategies at EMAP Middle East, the Yellow Pages Group, and the National Bank of Canada.
Kinda holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Concordia University in Canada and a BSc in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut.
