George Eid is an international journalist, media executive, and communication strategist with more than 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism, newsroom leadership, and media consultancy. He is the Head of News at Al Mashhad TV in Dubai and previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the network’s News Department. Fluent in Arabic, English, French, German, and Greek, George has reported for major outlets including Al Arabiya, Sky News Arabia, MTV Lebanon, Voice of Lebanon, Voice of America, and the Cyprus Mail. His work has received multiple honors, including the Said Akl Award and recognition as one of Lebanon’s top reporters.
His career is defined by frontline reporting, human-centered storytelling, and a commitment to journalistic integrity. In 2012, he was among the first journalists to enter Aleppo with Sky News Arabia during the Syrian war. George has also held senior editorial roles at MTV Lebanon. He is a lecturer and speaker at institutions such as Notre Dame University, Saint Joseph University, and the ALAC Leadership Academy. His documentary Kalimera Men Beirut earned several European awards for its cultural depth. From 2018 to 2020, he served as Honorary Media Consultant to the Greek Embassy in Beirut.
