Erin Relford
Erin is a Senior Privacy Engineer at Google with over 25 years of cross-industry experience spanning media and entertainment, healthcare, and robotics. A seasoned governance, risk, and compliance professional, she has shaped cybersecurity and IT audit programs for major organizations including The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., 21st Century Fox, and Mattel, Inc.
Now a leading voice in robotics privacy, Erin has served as privacy lead for projects at DeepMind, Waymo, Intrinsic, Everyday Robots, and other Google initiatives. Her work has influenced groundbreaking products such as Google’s first Class I medical device, DermAssist, and her robotics privacy framework was recently published by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Erin's expertise has been featured on PBS’ Roadtrip Nation, SXSW, and Google’s Coursera Cybersecurity Certificate. A lifelong learner, Erin is a graduate of selective programs at Stanford, Harvard Law, and the Aspen Policy Academy.
