Dr. Roy Salter
Senior Managing Partner, Virtu Global Advisors
Dr. Roy Salter is the Co founder and Senior Managing Partner of Virtu Global Advisors and a leading authority in valuing and forecasting intellectual property based assets. With more than 35 years of experience, he has advised on thousands of entertainment, media, sports, literary, and video game transactions representing more than one trillion dollars in combined asset value. His analytic frameworks have become foundational methods used worldwide to assess IP and business value.
Dr. Salter previously served in senior leadership at FTI Consulting, where he built the Valuation and Financial Advisory Services Group and served on its Fairness and Solvency Committee. Earlier in his career he held key roles at Houlihan Lokey and Wells Fargo in entertainment finance. He earned his Doctorate in 2020 for research that advanced the reconciliation of disputed IP and business valuations.
