Dr. Aaron Lobel
Dr. Aaron Lobel is the Founder and President of America Abroad Media (AAM), a Washington, D.C.-based international media organization, and the Founder and CEO of Black Birch Entertainment (BBE), which produces purpose-driven entertainment about the Middle East for global audiences. Under his leadership, AAM has co-produced public affairs programs and documentaries with major broadcasters across the Middle East. At BBE, he is developing a scripted series on King Hussein of Jordan with Garrison Drama (Peaky Blinders) and a limited series on President Anwar Sadat with Howard Gordon (24, Homeland).
Aaron earned his Ph.D. in International Affairs from Harvard University, where he received the Joseph Levenson Prize for teaching excellence. He was a Research Fellow at both the Olin Institute for Strategic Studies and the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and led a study group at the Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Iran International, the largest Persian-language television and digital news channel.
