Yat Siu is a veteran technology entrepreneur and investor and the Co Founder and Executive Chairman of Animoca Brands, a global leader in Web3, blockchain, gaming, and tokenization. He has been recognized as a Global Leader of Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum, Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the DHL SCMP Awards, and one of Cointelegraph’s top 100 notable people in blockchain. Yat began his career at Atari Germany before founding Hong Kong Cybercity/Freenation, the first free web page and email provider in Asia, and later Outblaze, an award winning pioneer of multilingual white label web services that evolved into a digital entertainment incubator and ultimately helped give rise to Animoca Brands.
Beyond his work as a technology founder, Yat is a classically trained musician and serves on the advisory board of BAFTA as well as the board of the Asian Youth Orchestra. His career bridges entrepreneurship, digital culture, and the advancement of open, inclusive technology ecosystems.
