Wyclef Jean
Wyclef Jean is a Grammy Award–winning artist, producer, and composer whose influence spans more than two decades. As a founding member of the Fugees, their landmark 1996 album The Score became one of the best-selling hip-hop albums of all time. He has released eight solo albums, including The Carnival, which sold nearly nine million copies worldwide.
Beyond music, Wyclef has built a career at the intersection of creativity, technology, and social impact. In 2020, he launched the podcast RunThatBack and collaborated with Google on the #BlackOwnedFriday campaign, earning a Webby Award. He later co-founded SodoMoodLab, composed music for Showtime’s The Chi, and partnered with TIAA on the Paper Right initiative to promote financial literacy. As a consultant for Google DeepMind, he advises on AI and creativity, while mentoring Haitian students in robotics and STEM innovation.
At BRIDGE Summit, Wyclef Jean will break down how he integrates music, technology, and business to build new opportunities for artists. He’ll share how collaborations with Google DeepMind and TIAA show the real-world use of AI and financial literacy in creative work, and how these same tools can help musicians and entrepreneurs scale their ideas and communities.

Own Your Audience and Rewrite the Rules
Grammy-winning artist Wyclef Jean and creator-economy pioneer Jaeson Ma break down how artists can finally take control in a system that hasn’t kept up.
