Tomás Mier is a Staff Writer and music journalist at Rolling Stone, where he covers pop and Latin music and has profiled or interviewed artists such as Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Christina Aguilera, Chappell Roan, Fuerza Regida, Peso Pluma, and Omar Apollo. A Mexican American music journalist, he is recognized for spotlighting Latin voices shaping today’s global pop scene.

He is a frequent moderator at the Grammy Museum, hosting live interviews with musicians including Sabrina Carpenter, Ellie Goulding, Stromae, and Enrique Bunbury, and runs a music news and reviews TikTok channel with more than 140 K followers. Before Rolling Stone, he was a Digital Music Writer at People Magazine and contributed to Teen Vogue, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Jose Mercury News. Tomás holds a B.A. in Journalism and Contemporary Latino Studies from the University of Southern California.
