Shadi Kandil
Shadi leads TikTok’s Global Business Solutions for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Pakistan, and Central & South Asia, drawing on more than two decades of transformational leadership and business excellence in top marketing services organizations. Previously, as CEO of IPG Mediabrands in METAP, Shadi led a major digital transformation program, aligning the organization with the demands of a data-driven communication era and setting the group on a path to sustainable growth.
He maintains a strong connection with the startup ecosystem, having served on the board of the Montreal-based analytics startup Semeon Inc., and continues to advise founders on fundraising, positioning, and corporate governance.
A lifelong learner, Shadi is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the Bocconi School of Management. His research focuses on the future of work and the role leaders play in steering their organizations toward success.
