Sanford Climan

Sandy Climan is the Founder and CEO of Entertainment Media Ventures, a strategic advisory and investment firm he established in 1999. A Golden Globe and BAFTA Award–winning producer, he has spent over three decades shaping the intersection of Hollywood, technology, and global business.

Before founding Entertainment Media Ventures, Sandy was part of the senior management team at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he co-founded the agency’s corporate practice. He later served as Corporate Executive Vice President and President of Worldwide Business Development at Universal Studios, held key executive roles at MGM, and was the first CEO of 3ality Digital, the pioneer of modern 3D filmmaking. His productions include The Aviator, directed by Martin Scorsese, and U2 3D, the first digital live-action 3D concert film.
