Blueprints for Governing Digital Speech
During COVID-19, platforms struggled to balance curbing misinformation with protecting free expression, often failing at both and eroding public trust. A 2021 Pew Research study found that 60% of U.S. adults saw social media as a major source of false information, with 43% reporting encounters with significant misinformation. These failures reveal gaps in transparency and accountability. How can policy, technology, and platform leadership work together to protect truth and rights while ensuring transparency, inclusivity, and resilience?

The New Gravity of Power from Washington to the Gulf
The global media and knowledge landscape is transforming rapidly, where viral moments now move markets, influence policy, and reshape narratives in real time. At this moment, BRIDGE Summit convenes leaders from across media, policy, finance, and technology to restore trust, transparency, and resilience in the context of digital sensation. This session examines a key axis of that shift: the rise of disruptive alliances like Elon Musk’s “America Party,” and the Gulf’s growing role as a diplomatic force in a multipolar world. Together, these trends mark the rise of new geopolitical centers, transcending borders, amplifying soft power, and wielding digital influence.

Rethinking Money, Media, and Meaning
As markets react in real time to headlines, policy shifts, and digital sentiment, the lines between finance, media, and governance are blurring. This session explores how tokenization, digital identity, and decentralized technologies are reshaping not just capital flows, but sovereignty and social contracts. From CBDCs to self-sovereign IDs and tokenized infrastructure, the next wave of financial architecture raises a core question: can we design systems that offer recognition and economic dignity across borders, without sacrificing stability or trust? Drawing on real-world models, this session brings together media, policymakers, fintech pioneers, and investors to examine the future of money in a networked world.

Designing a Global Media Dealbook
As the media landscape fragments and legacy funding models fall short, creators and investors seek smarter ways to align. Despite broader access to tools and audiences, many high-potential ventures go overlooked. A 2024 World Economic Forum–McKinsey report found global venture funding for fintech, media, and creator platforms fell 67%, from $92 billion in 2021 to $30 billion in 2023, highlighting the absence of forward-looking, coordinated capital. Could a curated platform connecting mission-driven media with values-aligned investment unlock new innovation and a more resilient media future?
