Julie Pace
Julie Pace is the Senior Vice President and Executive Editor of The Associated Press, leading global news coverage across more than 100 countries. Since taking the role in 2021, she has guided AP through major digital expansion, overseen coverage that earned three Pulitzer Prizes, and led the production of an Academy Award and BAFTA-winning documentary on the war in Ukraine. A veteran political journalist, she also received the White House Correspondents’ Merriman Smith Award in 2013 for her reporting on the Obama administration.
Previously, Julie served as Washington Bureau Chief, directing AP’s coverage of the presidency, politics, and the U.S. government, and earlier as White House Correspondent, where she was known for her incisive reporting and analysis.
At BRIDGE Summit, Julie will discuss what it takes to lead journalists through crisis reporting, rapid digital change, and the pursuit of truth under global pressure.
