Jessica Azar
Jessica Joseph Azar is a Lebanese journalist and TV host with over a decade of experience in media and social activism. In 2018, she ran as a candidate in Lebanon’s parliamentary elections for the Metn district, becoming one of the youngest and most talked-about figures for her bold views and stance against the Syrian regime.
Jessica began her career in 2007 with Annahar’s youth platform and later joined Now Lebanon, which at the time played a pivotal role in shaping public opinion and raising awareness about critical national issues.
In 2009, Jessica began working at MTV Lebanon as a reporter and senior news anchor for nine years. In 2020, she launched Al Ahad Mnehke, a program focused on women’s empowerment, followed by the hit talk show 40, a one-on-one interview series featuring Lebanese and Arab A-list celebrities and politicians, which aired on MTV Lebanon and Dubai TV for three successful seasons.
