Ethan Tobman
Ethan Tobman is an award-winning production designer, director, and creative director, and the founder of Remote Design Inc., known for its emotionally immersive approach to visual storytelling. He is recognized for developing “emotional architecture,” translating character psychology into physical design. Ethan’s recent work includes creative direction for Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour and production design for The Menu, Free Guy, Beautiful Boy, the Academy Award-winning Room, and the Emmy-winning Pam & Tommy.
Beyond his studio leadership, Ethan has directed Allison Russell’s Juno Award-winning Demons and collaborated with leading global artists including Beyoncé (Lemonade, Black Is King), Taylor Swift (All Too Well, Cardigan, Fortnight), Kendrick Lamar (All the Stars), Ariana Grande (No Tears Left to Cry), and OK Go (The Writings on the Wall). A Cannes-selected filmmaker at 19, he continues to expand his work across film, music, and live performance, with upcoming projects including his first Broadway musical and creative direction for Sphere residencies.
