David Freeman is the Global Head of Digital Media at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the world’s leading entertainment and sports firms. Over the past 15 years, David has built industry-leading divisions in creator representation, branded entertainment, gaming and eSports, social media monetization, immersive media, AI, and corporate advisory, positioning CAA at the forefront of digital innovation.
Before joining CAA, David was General Manager of MATTER, Edelman Sports and Entertainment Marketing. He co-founded MATTER in 2003 to connect brands, content creators, and entertainment companies through strategic partnerships, later overseeing 120 executives across Los Angeles, New York, and London after Edelman’s acquisition in 2006. Earlier in his career, he held roles at OMD Worldwide, Aaron Walton Entertainment, CNB Entertainment, and NFL Properties.
