Chantal Saliba Abikhalil is a leading news anchor at Sky News Arabia and presenter of the channel’s two-hour daily Newsroom show. Since joining the network in 2014, she has become one of its most prominent faces, covering global events and interviewing high-profile leaders. From 2021 to 2024, she hosted The Planet, a climate-focused program, reporting from major events including COP26, COP27, and COP28, and interviewing figures such as John Kerry, Jens Stoltenberg, Filippo Grandi, and Alain Berset.

Chantal has covered the Arab League Summit in Bahrain, the U.S. elections; and the political transition in Syria, where she hosted daily live debates from Damascus. Earlier, she reported from the Munich Security Conference, the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and moderated discussions at the World Economic Forum, Abu Dhabi Ideas Weekend, Special Olympics World Games, and more. She holds a Master’s in International Relations and a Bachelor’s in Economic Science from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and has a strong record in humanitarian and academic work.
