Barun Jha is a senior journalist and editor with over 27 years of experience covering politics, business, governance, environment, and global affairs. He has reported on some of the world’s most significant events, including the World Economic Forum in Davos for the past 15 years, and has interviewed heads of state, ministers, and leaders from the UN, World Bank, and IMF.
In his current role, he oversees national coverage spanning politics, parliament, law, environment, health, and the social sector, guiding teams through every stage of story development; from planning to publication. Over the course of his career, he has covered major G20 meetings, and the domestic and international visits of Indian prime ministers and finance ministers, providing audiences with clear, in-depth reporting on issues that shape governance and policy.
