BRIDGE Summit 2025, the world’s largest debut media event, has announced a landmark moment for the global gaming industry: ChinaJoy, Asia’s biggest and most influential gaming and digital entertainment expo, will host its first-ever international edition at the Summit. The dedicated ChinaJoy Pavilion, will form part of the Summit’s dynamic gaming programme at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 8—10 December 2025, opening new frontiers for global distribution, creator-led commerce, gaming IP development, and cross-border investment beyond Asia.

ChinaJoy Pavilion: A new global showcase for the gaming industry

At BRIDGE Summit 2025, the ChinaJoy Pavilion will anchor the Summit’s Gaming Track and introduce the Middle East to a powerful ecosystem of 19 exhibitors representing the Asian gaming and digital entertainment landscape. The Pavilion will bring together 12 leading companies, including Tencent Games, Game Science, 505 Games, Shenzhen Moyan Culture Media, MASS, Rich Flower, W Motors, Chengdu Fserking Sports Technology, UMINTON, Beijing Cross Dreams Culture Development, Shanghai Luowen Cultural Media, and YiTi Games, along with seven globally recognised gaming and creative IPs such as Delta Force, Black Myth: Wukong, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, King of the Basket, Vegetables Fairy, Tales of the Neon Sea, and Mercury Abbey.

Across its multi-zone showcase, the Pavilion will feature blockbuster PC and mobile titles, large-scale MMORPGs, high-performance sports games, and critically acclaimed indie releases. Exhibitors will unveil upcoming titles, offer gameplay previews, and explore new international distribution partnerships. The Pavilion will also bring together investors, esports organisations, creators, and entertainment partners to support cross-border collaboration across gaming, technology, and creative enterprise.

In addition to game software, the Pavilion will highlight the wider ChinaJoy ecosystem, including digital media studios, creative production houses, and lifestyle and cultural merchandise brands. This reflects the way gaming IP now shapes fashion, collectibles, entertainment, and global pop culture. The Pavilion’s presence at BRIDGE Summit demonstrates how gaming continues to influence film, fashion, digital culture, and content creation worldwide.

A partnership built on strategic collaboration

The announcement follows a high-level preparatory visit in August 2025, when a BRIDGE Summit delegation led by His Excellency Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of BRIDGE, visited ChinaJoy in Shanghai. During the visit, His Excellency held discussions with Mr Han Zhihai, Founder of Howell Expo Co., Ltd. and Founder of ChinaJoy, to explore collaboration agreements to bring ChinaJoy into BRIDGE Summit for its first global showcase.

Commenting on the announcement, His Excellency Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of BRIDGE, said: “Today, gaming has become a global economic engine that shapes media, film, technology, and the creator economy. Bringing ChinaJoy to the BRIDGE Summit is bringing the beating heart of Asia’s gaming industry to Abu Dhabi. It opens a new channel for partnerships between China, the UAE, and global gaming leaders, where IPs can scale, creators can monetize, and opportunities can be created for shaping new business models.”

He added:“Media, gaming, and technology are no longer separate worlds. They are now a single ecosystem driving how stories are created, monetized, and distributed. At BRIDGE Summit 2025, we aim to strengthen these connections and create a shared space for the industries shaping tomorrow’s content economy. This year’s expanded global platform reinforces the UAE’s position as a rising hub for storytelling, content creation, and the future of digital entertainment.”

Two decades of global gaming leadership

For more than twenty years, ChinaJoy has stood at the centre of Asia’s gaming and digital entertainment landscape — where the world’s leading publishers, developers, tech innovators, and IP commercialisation firms meet to launch new titles, form partnerships, and expand their global presence. Its annual edition in Shanghai attracts millions of visitors and is widely regarded as the industry’s most influential gateway for discovering new games and redefining immersive entertainment.

Taking place from 8-10 December 2025 at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, BRIDGE Summit 2025 will convene over 60,000 participants, 300 exhibitors, and 400 speakers, including heads of state, visionary creators, global media executives, investors, and technology leaders. The Summit aims to bridge the global media ecosystem, enabling collaboration across seven tracks — Media, Gaming, Creator Economy, Marketing, Music, Picture and Technology — to shape the future of content, creativity, and commerce.
