Douglas Kendyson
Douglas Kendyson is the Founder and CEO of Selar, Africa’s leading platform for digital entrepreneurs, empowering creators to sell eBooks, courses, memberships, and event tickets online. Since launching in 2016, Selar has grown to more than 2 million users and paid out over $15 million to African creators, transforming how digital entrepreneurs across the continent monetize their skills and content.
Before founding Selar, Douglas worked at Flutterwave and Paystack, two of Africa’s most successful fintech unicorns, where he helped scale digital payment solutions across multiple markets. Combining his deep understanding of fintech and entrepreneurship, he built Selar to remove barriers to online commerce and enable Africans to compete in the global digital economy.
At BRIDGE Summit, Douglas Kendyson will share how technology and financial inclusion can unlock the potential of Africa’s creator economy; showing how local innovation and global opportunity are converging to power the continent’s digital future.
